"Stuart Little" - the most famous mouse in children's literature, is a tale about a mild mannered mouse born into a human family. Heroic! Debonair! Stuart faces many hilarious misadventures while searching for his lost friend, a little bird. This ageless story of the "underdog" trying to survive in a "real peoples" world, is magically brought to life in this singable musical. Stuart Little is a full length musical from the book by E.B. White, dramatized by Joseph Robinette and music by Ronna Frank. "Stuart Little" features exciting, talented singer/actors who play a variety of roles. Renowned Saranti Reeders (Liriekeraai - KykNET) is the musical director and Shelly Adriaanzen, (My Fair Lady) is the choreographer. Joyce Levinsohn says: "I'm thrilled to stage "Stuart Little". It is a challenge to create such a different style of play. It is written by E.B White, the same author who wrote the wonderful Charlotte's Web which NCT toured nationally, winning a Naledi Award". "Stuart Little" captures the hearts of both children and adults with its wit, humour and captivating lyrics. There are heartwarming moments of romance and the finding of some of life's truths. "Stuart Little" is vibey, colourful, witty and a "wow". For the young and young at heart, this is a family show not to be missed. During government school terms, performances are week days at 9.00am and 10.30am and on Saturdays at 10.30am and 2.30pm. During school holidays, performances are Monday to Saturday at 10.30am and 2.30pm. Ticket prices: R65 - adults and R55 - children.
